500 g potatoes
200 g Machland white cabbage (bag / jar)
1 medium onion
½ teaspoon ground cumin
salt, hot water
1½ tbsp oil
chives, parsley
pepper
a few rounds of red onion for garnish
Description:
Salt the potatoes, add cumin and cook until tender. In the meantime, fry the finely chopped onion and white cabbage in the pan. Add to the cooked and mashed potatoes in the pot and use a masher to combine into a compact mass. Finely chop the herbs and add to the mixture. Season and mix everything together. For example, you can use a few rounds of red onion or other herbs or other vegetables to taste. Ready to serve. Can be served as a separate dish or as a side dish with meat.
Tip:
White cabbage can be replaced by sauerkraut. The result will also be delicious.
