Sauerkraut on onion

Ingredients:
1 bag of Sauerkraut Machland
1 onion
1 tablespoon lard
100 ml water / brine
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
salt
1 tablespoon sugar

Procedure:
Drain the brine from the sauerkraut.
Cut the onion into small cubes and fry it in a pot in lard.
Add the cabbage, water (or brine), season with cumin, salt and sugar and stir.
Now let the cabbage simmer for just a moment and it is ready.
