Ingredients:
1 bag of Machland red cabbage
butter
1 onion
1 tablespoon sugar
100 ml water / brine
Procedure:
Drain the juice from the red cabbage.
Cut the onion into small cubes and fry it in a pot in butter.
When the onions turn brown, add the sugar and let them caramelise. You don't need much sugar, the cabbage is already sweetened.
Add the cabbage and stir.
Pour in the water (or brine) and let the cabbage simmer for just a minute.
